Mariah Sewall had wanted to be a Librarian since she was nine years old. She has also wanted to write and perform her own songs and music. Today, she does both. Living and working in Mid Coast Maine, she works as a children’s librarian at The Topsham Public Library and as a songwriter and leader of her own band. She’s talented, friendly and wonderful.
She and her band were playing recently for the Winter Farmer’s Market at Bath, Maine’s historic Freight Shed. Maine’s First Ship, The Virginia, is rising just outside the doors of the shed. On New Years Eve, December 31,2013, volunteers, supporters and guests raised a glass to toast The raising of the last frame.
